Jesus said in Luke 6:38,

” Give, and it shall be given unto you;
good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over,
shall men give into your bosom.”

There’s the command, and then there is the promise. Meditate on this commandment and promise, get them into your heart, by saying it over and over. That is Bible meditation, saying the commandment and the promise aloud to yourself to persuade your heart. (I John 3:19) to believe, for with the heart man believes (Romans 10:10) and we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

When your heart is persuaded (you will have confidence in the commandment and promise). Then do the commandment and give, as soon as you have given, from a believing heart confess, I have given, now it is given unto me (1st person) good measure, pressed down, and shaken together and running over, shall men give into my bosom.  When you say it, (confess) at this point your are releasing your faith for the commandment and the promise

As Paul wrote by inspiration of the Spirit of Truth (Philippians 4:17) Not that I desire a gift: but I desire fruit (end result) that may abound to your account.
