About Us

Doreen and David Porter are co-founders of The Institute for Bible Memorization and Meditation. Also, known as IBMandM.

IBMandM was incorporated and registered with the IRS in 2013 as a non-profit organization. IBMandM is also a 501(c)(3) exempt from federal income tax. Donors can deduct contributions they make to IBMandM.

Doreen is the mother of our four grown children, all serving the Lord. She has been heavily involved and loves the Word of God since forever. Since 2012 she has been involved with Billye Brim Ministries and intercessory prayer. Baptized in the Holy Spirit. A prayer warrior consistent and true.

David has worked for Abundant Life World Outreach Center, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Later, as a volunteer working with Liberty Ministries, a prison ministry located in Schwenksville, PA. Co-taught men incarcerated in Montgomery County Correctional Facility, started teaching in the year 2000. Initial class was Personal Faith for the Chaplain’s pre-release program. Later teaching a course he developed on Bible memorization and meditation in the year 2013. Having many men successfully complete the course has been a blessing.

Our Mission

To encourage and assist everyone to memorize (learn/know by heart) and meditate (converse with oneself, and hence aloud) in the Word of God (the thoughts of his heart to all generations (Psalm 33:11).

This is our goal and mission: that our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, that we all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among us; but that we be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment (1st John 1:3 and 1st Corinthians 1:10). By memorizing and meditating in His WORD, JESUS.
